Special Open Enrollment Period – FlexElect Dependent Care Reimbursement Account Program
In connection with the increased return-to-office mandates, the Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is holding a special open enrollment period for the FlexElect Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA) Program.
The DCRA Program is a pre-tax benefit program that allows employees to set aside funds to pay for certain qualifying dependent care expenses such as childcare, elder care, and care for a disabled dependent. The expenses must be necessary for the employee to work.
During this special open enrollment period from May 1 to 30, 2025, eligible employees can enroll in the program on increase current DCRA contribution amounts.
