Secretary/Treasurer Statement:
My name is Jose Gonzalez. I have been a state employee for 11 years, and a state supervisor and ACSS member for over 3 years. I have attended chapter meetings, recruited new members, and have gained knowledge of ACSS while serving as your Chapter 513 officer. I am asking for your continued support as I seek re-election. I am qualified for this position based on my past experience as a Secretary/Treasurer. If re-elected, you have my commitment to keep working with all of you.  I respectfully ask for your vote and trust. Please vote for Jose.

My name is Jose Gonzalez. I have been a state employee for 11 years, and a state supervisor and member of ACSS for over 3 years. I hope I can count on your support to serve as your delegate. You need someone that will voice your concerns to overcome the upcoming challenges. If elected, my goal is to do my best to continue to make a difference and ensure YOU obtain the best representation. Serving our members needs is my highest priority. I am Glenn Ilustrisimo seeking your vote and support. For the past 3.5 years, I have been your dedicated Chapter 513 vice-president, president, and board member facilitating your chapter meetings, updating you with developments, and listening to your individual concerns as we increasingly face new challenges. At the delegate assembly, I will be your voice to ensure that ACSS will be a more accountable organization by being attentive to your individual needs, responsive in advocating pay, promotion, and healthy working condition issues, and diligent to protect your rights as excluded state employees. My name is Maheshinder Kaler, been a state employee for 21 years and a supervisor and member of ACSS for 11 years. I have gained knowledge of ACSS working due to my long association and currently seeking election to be a delegate from Chapter 513. I am qualified for this position based on my experience as a state supervisor and a manager in the private sector. I would be honored to represent the members of our chapter as your DELEGATE. If you allow me the opportunity to continue to serve you, I will always work hard to make a difference and advocate for all excluded employees. As a former Chapter and Statewide President of ACSS, I am intimately aware of the issues and challenges that face our Association. My name is Maria Shimohara, and I am currently Vice-President of ACSS Chapter 513. In this role, I regularly attend chapter meetings, participate in annual Lobby Day, and actively advocate for management’s rights. I have been employed at the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation for over 20 years, working to protect California consumers from investment fraud. Similarly, I aim to protect ACSS members’ benefits and interests. I look forward to hearing your concerns and contributing my time on our behalf. I am committed to serving and kindly request your support and vote.

My name is Maria Shimohara, and I am running for Delegate of ACSS Chapter 513. I have been a state employee for over 20 years and an ACSS member for the last five years. As a member, I have been impressed with the ACSS leadership and responsiveness to management issues. As a Delegate, I would like to continue this strong path and further work with our members to address the things that matter most.
